Q: I am a Malaysian citizen working in Singapore since 3 years ago. I started receiving rental income from a property in Malaysia from this year onwards. Should I declare my rental income in Malaysia?

A: Yes, you are required to declare the rental income derived from Malaysia by submitting Form M on or before 30 April if you don’t have any business income derived from Malaysia.
