Q: If I receive overseas dividend in Malaysia which has been subjected to withholding tax, is this dividend still taxable in Malaysia?

A: Any overseas dividend received in Malaysia until 31 December 2026 which has been subjected to tax in country of origin such as withholding tax will be exempted from tax in Malaysia.
