A: It depends on what is the purpose of the dental x-ray. If it is for tooth extraction, then it is eligible for claiming relief under the parents’ medical expenses. However, it will not be eligible for relief if it is for cosmetic dental treatment such as teeth restoration and replacement involving crowning, root canal and dentures.
