Q: Is the registration fee for a marathon eligible for lifestyle tax relief?

A: If the organiser of the marathon is approved and licensed by the Commissioner of Sports under the Sports Development Act 1997, then the registration fee will be eligible for lifestyle tax relief up to RM1,000 with effect from year of assessment 2024.
